Abstract

Hospital as a health care institution has a business process that focuses on patient treatment as its key success factors. Yet, administrative aspects are also crucial to determine and measure the quality of services of a hospital. According to previous statement, Indonesian government, through Ministry of Health established Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan (Minister of Health Regulation) No. 82/2013 which obligates every hospital to develop and run its own Hospital Management Information System, a type of information system to support management and administrative activities. In order to make sure the information technology facilities meet hospital's expectation, a hospital needs to establish IT Governance for its Hospital Management Information System. This paper provides a case study and explore the use of IT Governance for X hospital as a driver to achieve sustainability success of its Hospital Management Information System in a long-term basis.
