Abstract

High-tech environment is overwhelmed with threats and challenges. On the other hand, cyberspace is all about software and hardware being used to make a grid of the interconnected devices. The emerging technologies seek a technical skill to be managed and protected. The internet is a critical infrastructure that makes a lot of clients being dependable from its service. For such a reason, anyone interfering with such an asset in a harmful context is under the Criminal Code as the wellbeing of many can be under the risk in that case. In other words, affecting people's activities in the virtual world is a crime which needs the well-developed procedures and policies for being investigated. In this effort, we demonstrate some typical cybercrime schemes as well as propose some case management methodologies in order to explain how those incidents can be resolved.
