Abstract

AbstractThis paper focuses on the development of the digital economy, particularly digital entrepreneurship in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. The authors consider the position of Kyrgyzstan in international rankings and the level of implementation of information and communication in the country, necessary for the development and improvement of the digitalization of the economy. The paper defines the role of developing and improving the theory of digitalization, digital economy, digitalization of business, and regional development in the context of the adopted relevant programs, concepts, and territorial objectives aimed at stabilizing and creating conditions for achieving positive dynamics in the issues of improving the level and quality of services through the introduction of advanced information and digital technologies to develop regions and improve the lives of the population. The authors provide definitions and refinements, enriching the current digital terminology based on the study of philosophical and economic studies of the objects of digital development, which have their rightful place in contemporary economic science. The methods of observation and theoretical research allowed us to reliably determine the role and importance of digitalization of the economy in the sustainable development of the whole country. In recent years, the task of developing the digital economy and its categories has been explored and disclosed by contemporary scientific schools as a policy direction. Much attention is given to applied research, identifying constraints, their diagnosis, analysis, and problem-solving. A special place in the research is given to the problems of acquisition, implementation, and adaptation of advanced information and digital technologies. The authors also pay considerable attention to the issues of effective use of digital potential in the regions of the country. It was established that the requirement for implementing digital business models of management of economic entities is the use of IT technologies. The priority is a digital strategy, which should define the task of developing optimal digital scenarios of socioeconomic development of regions and their territories, considering digital risks and resource opportunities. The authors consider the role and importance of the development of digital entrepreneurship in the development of regions and rural areas. Moreover, the authors identify the need to introduce new forms of accounting and financial control in the digital economy, in particular in digital entrepreneurship.
