Abstract

The article is dedicated to the research of the current development state of commercial activity in Ukraine. The author determines that the most researches conducted about the commercial activity in Ukraine are connected with the theoretical substantiation of management process. In the process of the study it is established that the commercial activity is a component of economic activity of those enterprises which sell their own made products to the consumers who purchase goods for further sale and to the consumers who are specialized in retail trade. On the base of state statistical information, it is determined the dynamics of formation of goods turnover and the produced services by domestic economic entities; the indices of resource providing of wholesale and retail trading enterprises are counted. It is determined that the development of the commercial activity at Ukrainian enterprises is connected with the development of the country’s economy and directed to the needs and demands of the market, a separate buyer of goods and services.The analysis of the current studies in the sphere of commercial activity of trade enterprises made it possible to single out the peculiarities of trading activity of producers of goods, wholesale mediators and retail trade networks according to the following signs: the amounts of sales, the chain of activity, the term of forming incomes, the place of disposition, specialization. The paper determines the peculiarities of commercial activity according to the types of trading enterprises and this allows to form the problems and prospects of their development. The common issues for the development of enterprises’ commercial activity are the lack of sufficient amount of financial resources to provide the needs of the selling processes, the low business partners’ activity, competitors’ breach of the rules for the commercial activity. The common prospects for the development of enterprises’ commercial activity are the use of strategic management for determining the purpose-oriented sales markets, the improvement of communication policy, signing the agreements under mutually beneficial conditions, the intensification of business activity, the attraction of investments to the development of material and technical basis.
