Abstract

In the preceding essay, the author presents a number of challenges regarding the philosophical positioning of critical realism (CR). Although we find the essay to indeed be thought-provoking and interesting, we also believe that several of his points are misrepresentative of CR. In the current response, we address his concerns and point out opportunities to improve CR research.
