Abstract
COVER PHOTOGRAPH: Tbx4+/Cre mice were bred with R26mT/mG reporter mice to determine the activity of the recombinase in lung. The double‐fluorescent R26mT/mG reporter mouse line expresses the membrane‐targeted tandem dimer Tomato (mT) prior Cre‐mediated excision and membrane‐targeted enhanced green fluorescent protein (mG) after excision. At E12.5, EGFP expression was restricted to the respiratory tract mesenchyme while the surrounding tissues remained Tomato‐positive in R26+/mTmG;Tbx4+/Cre specimens.
