Abstract The importance of estate planning cannot be emphasized enough, so much more so where the relevant individuals have a connection to more than one jurisdiction. Said connection may be with respect to citizenship, residency, ownership of assets or the jurisdiction of residence of the heirs. This article considers each of these factors separately.
