Abstract

In this study, the chlorophyll content of Isparta rose was determined by hyperspectral sensing method in field. The study was carried at rose garden in Suleyman Demirel University during 33 weeks. At experiment, the normal growing activities were applied on the rose garden. The spectral reflection values were obtained from leaves of living plants at 3251075 nm wavelengths. Furthermore, the chlorophyll content was analyzed using the same leaves samples. Logarithm of the spectral reflectance values and chlorophyll contents were evaluated by the method of stepwise multiple linear regression analysis. The models were produced for prediction of chlorophyll contents. At results, it was found that the contents of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and chlorophyll a+b of rose leaves were predicted with highest accuracy on April 30 and May 6 using hyperspectral sensing methods in field
