Abstract
It has been reported in [1-3] that the P=O group shows marked electron-acceptor activity in isotopichydrogen exchange (IHE) between triferrocenylphosphine oxide (Fc3P0)* and CF3COOD. We have continued earlier work in this field by studying IHE in triferrocenylphosphine (Fc3P) and its oxide (FcsP0), operating under comparable conditions and recording IH and S~p NMR spectra in neutral and acid solutions.
