Abstract

We present the experimental isotopicdistributions of the 18N projectile fragmentation products Li,Be, B and C in coincidence with neutrons, as well as the inclusiveones on 197Au and 9Be targets. In the framework of theabrasion-ablation model, these distributions are calculated forvarious nucleon density distributions of the projectile. Thecomparison with experimental isotopic distributions of theprojectile-like fragments in coincidence with neutrons shows that theinformation on the nucleon density distribution of the 18Nprojectile can be extracted.
