Abstract

Preliminary investigations of stable isotope composition and tritium content of thermal waters in the springs of Kali Gandaki, Seti Khola and Trisuli areas, Nepal Himalayas, are presented. The stable isotope composition of water in all the sampled springs generally fits to the meteoric water line and probably exhibits the influence of the effect of altitude. Distinctly differentiated, relatively high and reversely correlated with temperature, the tritium content is characteristic for these waters.
