Abstract
A method and the results of investigations of concentrating 22Na isotope in the form of NaCl on a steam-generating surface coated by iron oxide deposits under surface boiling conditions at a pressure of 3–5 MPa, heat flowrates of approximately 1 MW/m2, and a deposit thicknesses of 20–100 µm are presented. The results obtained indicate a possibility of a two-order-of-magnitude increase in the impurity concentration.
