Abstract

Isothermal vapour-liquid equilibrium data were measured for the binary acetonitrile-isobutanol and ternary acetonitrile-isobutanol-benzene systems at 60° C by using a vapour-recirculating equilibrium still. The experimental data were correlated by the extended UNIQUAC and UNIQUAC associated-solution models. The UNIQUAC associated-solution model gives better predicted values for the ternary system.
