Abstract
The isothermal section of the phase diagram of the Ce–Mn–Ge ternary system was constructed at 670 K. Four ternary intermetallic compounds were found to exist. A critical assessment on the interaction of rare-earth elements (La–Lu) with manganese and germanium was made.
