Abstract

Isothermal vapour–liquid equilibrium was measured for dimethylsulphide + 1-butene (312.58 K), dimethylsulphide + cis-2-butene (312.59 K), dimethylsulphide + trans-2-butene (317.30 K), dimethylsulphide + 2-methylpropene (312.60 K), dimethylsulphide + n-butane (317.41 K) and dimethylsulphide + 2-methylpropane (307.86 K) with the static total pressure method. The experimental data were correlated with Legendre-polynomial and the Wilson activity coefficient models. All six binary systems exhibited positive deviation from Raoult's law.
