Abstract

The (vapour+liquid) equilibria for (ethanol+benzene+n-hexane), measured with an inclined ebulliometer at the temperature 308.15 K, 318.15 K, 328.15 K, and at the pressure 101.33 kPa are reported. The experimental results are analysed using the UNIQUAC equation with the temperature-dependence binary parameters. The predictions compare satisfactorily with the experimental results and indicate that the UNIQUAC equation can be used for predicting ternary VLE data.
