Abstract

By polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of extracts of normal and dehydrated frogs, and by the precipitation of a protein hormone complex, the existence of frog neurophysin(s) was indicated. A neurophysin(s) fraction was isolated by chromatography on Biogel P-2 and Sephadex G-75, and the amino acid composition was determined.
