Abstract
This study aimed to isolate Enterococcus sp. from bovine rumen samples. Isolation were carried out using classical method by using Streptococcus selective medium then the isolates were identificated using modern techniques by real time PCR, gel electrophoresis and DNA sequencing techniques. Results showed that Enterococcus sp. enumerated in the range from 103 to 105 CFU/mL. One of the isolates identified as Enterococcus faecium and two other isolates were Enterococcus cecorum.
