Abstract

Summary DNA of bacteriophage Φ80psu+III was hybridized with 3H-aminoacyl tyrosine transfer RNA and the hybrid digested with Neurospora crassa endonuclease. The analysis of the products, following enzymatic digestion, by gel filtration and cesium sulphate density-gradient centrifugation demonstrates the release of a cistron-hybrid composed of tyrosine tRNA and its complementary DNA sequence.
