Abstract
Sipunculus nudus is an economically important marine fish species in China. In this study, a (GT)13-microsatellite-enriched library was constructed and 18 novel microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized. The number of alleles ranged from three to six. There were two loci pair in significant linkage disequilibrium and four loci significantly deviated from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium. These microsatellite loci will be a powerful tool in population genetic studies of S. nudus, which will contribute to the conservation and management of the peanut worm.
