Abstract

Abstract This is spectrum of incomplete development of the lung tissue leading to pulmonary hypoplasia. This can either be unilateral or bilateral in presentation. This can manifest as being primary or secondary in nature. The entity can be screened during perinatal period by Ultrasound (US) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Post natal period creates diagnostic dilemma. Computerized Tomography (CT) plays a decisive role in the diagnosis. We present a 2 months old male child who presented with recurrent respiratory infections and respiratory distress.
