Blepharospasm (BSM) is a form of cranial dystonia caused by involuntary bilateral eye closure produced by contractions of orbicularis oculi muscles, often accompanied by dystonic movements of the eyebrows, paranasal, facial, masticatory, labial, lingual, oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal and cervical muscles1-3.
