Abstract
Lemierres disease is an anaerobic post-anginal sepsis presenting in the form of septic thrombosis of internal jugular vein. A 13-year old boy presented with high fever delirium trismus parotid edema and thrombophlebitis of facial vein. Causative agent was Streptococcus intermedius. The condition responded to metronidazole and linezolid. This case is reported due to its rarity.nbsp
