Abstract
The activity of acid phosphatase (AcP) (E.G.3.1.3.2.) has been claimed to show characteristic variations in different lympho-proliferative diseases (Yam and Mitus, 1968; Catovsky et al, 1974). Recent results have established fairly specific electrophoretic patterns of AcP — isoenzymes in some malignant lymphomas. A tartrate resistant isoenzyme in Polyacrylamide (PAA) disc electrophoresis could be identified in cases of hairy cell leukemic by Yam et al. (1971).
