Abstract

In this research, a novel isochromenone-functionalized mesoporous silica hollow sphere was synthesized from the amine containing silica hollow sphere nanoparticles (NPs) through an isocyanide-based multi-component reaction. The functionalized NPs were characterized by means of 1H NMR, BET, TGA, elemental analysis, SEM and TEM. The performances of the isochromenone-functionalized NPs were evaluated in the Etilefrine delivery during the six days that shown a good ability for adsorption the significant amount of the drug and very slow release during the six days.
