Abstract
Abstract A novel sesquiterpene aldehyde, (−)-isobicyclogermacrenal, was isolated from Lepidozia vitrea, and its structure and absolute configuration were shown to be ent-isobicyclogermacren-14-al on the basis of the chemical and spectral evidence.
