Islamic Libraries on the Territory of Bashkortostan (18th — the First Half of 19th Century): Creation and Development

Abstract

The features of the establishment of Muslim libraries on the territory of Bashkortostan in 18th – the first half of 19th century in the context of socio-cultural development of the region are considered in the article. The role and place of the libraries in the mosques and madrasahs in the culture of the region are showed.
