Abstract

This article focuses on integrating Islam and science in the subjects of the Qur'an and Hadith in MTs. Islamiyah Pontianak. This article is the result of research the author conducted with a qualitative approach, with the type of field research where data was obtained through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that the integration of Islam and science in the subjects of the Qur'an Hadith at MTs Islamiyah Pontianak has gone well and adequately. One of them is applying several integration models from the whole, although some models cannot be optimized. Some models of integration of Islam and science in MTs. Islamiyah Pontianak, among others: similarization model, parallelization model, complementation model, comparison model, induction model, and verification model. Two, in the work of integrating Islam and science, there are obstacles, such as lack of adequate learning facilities and infrastructure, lack of awareness in students to learn, lack of support from parents/guardians of students, lack of ability of teachers of the Qur'an and Hadith in designing fun learning for students, and lack of learning time.
