Abstract

The incidence of cancer and ischemic stroke has increased year by year. Furthermore, more and more studies have shown that cancer patients have a significantly higher risk of stroke than non-cancer patients. This article mainly describes the relationship between cancer and ischemic stroke from the aspects of epidemiology, pathophysiological mechanism, clinical and imaging manifestations, treatment, and prognosis.
