Abstract
AbstractMigraine attacks associated with brainstem and cerebellar system dysfunction and aural symptoms of basilar artery area were first described by Bickerstaff. A twenty-five year-old woman was evaluated because of severe vertigo, imbalance, left lateral weakness, speech disturbance along with pulsatile headache. These symptoms occurred twice in a six months. The patient was treated with progesterone because of infertility at that time. Bilateral cerebellar infarct by MRI and hypoplasia of the left P1 segment of posterior cerebral artery were detected by angiography.
