Abstract
This paper is the result of the research carried out within the project “Andaluzas Ocultas. Half a century of intellectual women (1900-1950)” a FEDER Andalusia R+D+i Project directed by Professor Mercedes Arriaga Flórez, from the University of Seville. This article aims on the one hand to summarize the intense professional and intellec- tual activity of the Malaga writer Isabel Oyarzábal Smith with a special focus on theatre and on the other hand to analyze the section of theatre she wrote in the magazine La Dama Ilustrada (1907-1911).
