Abstract
The dielectric response of K2CrO4 has been measured at frequencies between 10-2 and 104 Hz and a number of temperatures above and below its phase transition. The observed behaviour was found to derive from a combination of bulk conductance and barrier capacitance, with a discontinuity marking the transition. No evidence was obtained for the existence of an intermediate dipole glass state.
