Abstract
There is not an East-West water conflict in the United States, but rather an overwhelming national and sectional need for further protection and utilization of available water supplies. The conflict is not between regions but between competitive uses for water. The competitive uses are compatible to a large degree with a reasonable amount of cooperative effort in multiple purpose projects.
