Culture-directed antibiotic therapy is recommended for patients undergoing operative treatment of infected total ankle arthroplasty (TAA). Routine administration of suppressive antibiotics in patients with an ankle prosthesis in place is not warranted; however, in certain clinical circumstances, this may be of benefit. Consensus. Agree: 100%, Disagree: 0%, Abstain: 0% (Unanimous, Strongest Consensus).
