Abstract

Premature hair graying (PHG) has been associated with autoimmune disease (AD) including premature ovarian, thyroid, and adrenal failure and reduced bone mineral density at menopause, suggesting that these latter women have earlier reduced ovarian reserve. This study was designed to determine whether women undergoing treatment for unexplained infertility with PHG and/or AD and normal ovarian reserve at baseline, CD3 FSH < 15 mIU/ml and estradiol < 100 pg/ml, have impaired treatment markers of ovarian reserve.
