Abstract

BACKGROUND CONTEXT: The thoracolumbar injury classification and severity score (TLICS) is designed to help classify and propose management for thoracolumbar spine fractures. Several studies have reported good reliability and validity but to date, no UK data have been reported. Several of these series have magnetic resonance imagong (MRI) studies for all patients, which do not reflect UK practice.
