Abstract

While on the campaign trail, then‐presidential candidate Joe Biden advanced his interest in supporting organized labor. In his first year in office, President Biden released a White House statement in which he said, “I intend to be the most pro‐union President leading the most pro‐union administration in American history.” Marking the midpoint of President Biden's administration, it is a good time to ask: Has President Biden fulfilled his promise to organized labor and what impact have his efforts had on union‐free employers?
