Abstract

To the Editor: Varaprasad and colleagues described a cohort of reversible encephalopathy in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)1. This cohort adds to the increasing evidence that SLE can manifest reversible encephalopathy, e.g., posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES)2,3. It is possible that PRES is underestimated in SLE. However, we are concerned about the differential diagnoses of these cases.
