Abstract

• Theoretical “Kellie-Monroe” model allowed physicians to understand mechanisms of ICP regulation in physiologic and pathophysiologic conditions. • Mass effect by subarachnoid/intracerebral hemorrhages in our patient displaced the tissue and adjacent structures to create a midline shite of the brain. • The ventricular wall was tougher which would reduce external pressure. Early recording showed elevated ICP. The collapse of right ventricle could reduce the ICP readings.
