Abstract

The preferred method of reperfusion for ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) when performed in a timely manner. STEMI treatment has been regionalized to improve reperfusion times and in a large geographic region, a mixed-reperfusion model utilizing both PCI and fibrinolysis is necessary. We aimed to evaluate the outcomes of STEMI management in a mixed reperfusion model.
