Abstract
A case of Achilles tendonopathy in a 68-year-old runner is reported. This condition continues to provide a challenge to achieve effective treatment. In this case, electro-acupuncture and attention to muscle function and gait was associated with a good outcome. A case is made for further study of this approach to treatment.
