Abstract

In this work we develop a model where superheated emulsion detectors have the capacity to be used in α-spectroscopy of liquid source and we have found evidence that alpha-spectroscopy is theoretically possible under some circumstances to be explained. Experimental results for different refrigerant and radioactive source with α energies ranging from 4 to 6 MeV were analyzed to check the validity of the recently introduced α–droplet interaction model.
