Abstract

This retrospective study evaluated the efficacy of a new great saphenous vein (GSV) ablation method combining endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) for the proximal GSV segment with simultaneous foam sclerotherapy for the distal GSV segment. We compared the results of this combined approach with EVLA-only therapy in terms of the obliteration success rate and the incidence of distal leg neuropathy at 48 months.
