Abstract
A group representation is said to have the ESQ property if it is isomorphic to a quotient of its own exterior square. In the present paper we will investigate the ESQ property for some particular irreducible representations of symmetric groups over the complex field. We consider the representations corresponding to height two, width two, and hook shape Young tableaux.
