Abstract

The induced damage in single crystals of Sodium sulphanilate dihydrate (SSDH) irradiated at IUAC, New Delhi with 15MV Pelletron accelerator with 100MeV Ag7+ and 70MeV Li3+ ions has been studied by optical measurements, mechanical hardness measurements, Electrical and ERDA measurements. Optical absorption measurements increase with the increase in fluence. The mechanical hardness of the crystal decreases on irradiation. The dielectric constant of SSDH increases on irradiation.
