His publications include The White House and the Blue House (1997) and Public Policy and Urban Crime (1974).Jong Sup JunJong Sup Jun is Professor Emeritus of public administration at California State University at East Bay. He also taught as a visiting professor at Korea University, and Yonsei University, and Hosei University in Tokyo. He has published numerous books, symposium issues, and articles, including The Social Construction of Public Administration: Interpretive and Critical Perspectives. SUNY Press, 2006. (forthcoming in March). He received his Ph.D. from University of Southern California and is a fellow of the U.S. National Academy of Public Administration.James MidgleyJames Midgley is Specht Professor of Public Social Services and Dean of the School of Social Welfare, University of California, Berkeley. His recent publications include Social Policy for Development (with Anthony Hall, 2004).
