Abstract

Abstract Veins of iron enrichment in an olivine chondrule in Warrenton are attributed to migration of iron prior to final consolidation. Aqueous transport along cracks is suggested as the most plausible mechanism responsible for such migration, with possible implications for ‘metamorphic’ theories of iron distribution in chondrites.
