Abstract
The synthesis of iron tris-thioselenocarbamates, Fe(R 2tsc) 3, is described. Magnetic properties and Mössbauer data of these new compounds are compared to those of the corresponding dithiocarbamate and diselenocarbamate compounds. Moreover the synthesis and Mössbauer data of the new mixed-ligand compounds Fe(R 2tsc) 2X (XCl, Br, I), CpFe(Et 2tsc)(CO) and Fe(Et 2tsc) 2(CO) 2 are reported.
