Abstract

The synthesis of mixed iron–gallium borates, Fe <i>x</i> Ga 1–<i>x</i> BO 3 , and the results of modeling intracrystalline interactions, namely exchange, Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya, and dipole–dipole couplings in these crystals by means of the Monte Carlo technique using laboratory-developed codes are presented. The dipole–dipole contribution to basal magnetocrystalline anisotropy is calculated considering extended dipoles as Ampérian currents. The dependences of the intracrystalline interaction constants on iron contents, <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">${x}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> , are obtained at 0 K.
