Two new iridoid glucosides, dehydropentstemoside and 7-epiphlomiol have been isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis rotata and their structures elucidated by means of chemical and spectral methods. Shanzhiside methyl ester and barlerin have also been isolated and identified
